Criminal offense - Two individuals suffered from knife wounds during a brawl in Mitte.
In the Wedding district of Berlin-Mitte, two men were harmed during a fight on Saturday evening. According to authorities, a confrontation took place in Nazarethkirchstraße. A 34-year-old man attempted to intervene in the altercation, only to end up with a severe cut on his arm. The other man, a 31-year-old, allegedly struck his opponent in the face earlier and sustained a severe stab wound in his abdomen. Responding emergency services transported both men to the hospital. Fortunately, the 31-year-old could be discharged after receiving outpatient care. Meanwhile, the 34-year-old was admitted to the hospital. The police have arrested a suspect for injuring the two men with a knife. Authorities are investigating the case further, as there is suspicion of simple assault against the 34-year-old man. The suspect's identity has not been confirmed as of yet, and they are being investigated for administering grievous bodily harm.
