Two Germans missing after falling from glacier on Mont Blanc
A spokesperson for the Foreign Office in Berlin told AFP: "I cannot confirm that at this moment in time." The Foreign Office is in contact with French authorities.
According to French authorities, the incident occurred early Monday morning at an altitude of approximately 4,100 meters. A so-called sérac - an ice tower on a glacier - detached and fell down. At the time of the collapse of the ice block, there were 15 people in the danger zone.
The spokesperson from AA, a news agency, requested additional information about the incident from the Foreign Office in Berlin. The AA team is eagerly awaiting a response to their query.
