Ludwigsburg district - Two dead bodies discovered in apartment - presumably mother and son

Two dead people have been discovered in an apartment in Bietigheim-Bissingen ( Ludwigsburg district). According to initial findings, they are a 52-year-old woman and her 21-year-old son, a police spokesman said. The bodies were found on Friday after a telephone tip-off from the police and rescue workers.

How they died, why and whether it was a crime was not initially known. According to the police, the dead were both registered in the apartment. No further details were given on Friday evening. "Investigations are currently underway," said a spokeswoman for the Heilbronn public prosecutor's office on request.

Police and rescue workers found the two in the apartment at around 2.30 pm. Numerous ambulances and police cars were deployed. The criminal investigation department and forensics were still on site in the evening.
