Accidents - Two buses collide in Gladbeck: several people injured
Several people were injured in a collision between two buses in Gladbeck (Recklinghausen district) on Monday evening. According to initial findings, a 48-year-old learner driver of a bus, who was traveling with a driver instructor, disregarded a red light and collided with another bus at an intersection, police said. In addition to the two bus drivers and the referral driver, two passengers were also slightly injured, said a police spokeswoman. The injured were taken to hospital.
When asked, the fire department said that another injured person later went to hospital themselves and therefore spoke of six injured people. Both buses sustained considerable material damage.
