Public prosecutor's office - Two arrests during operation in drug milieu in Lusatia

Two 21-year-olds have been arrested during the large-scale operation by police and the public prosecutor's office in Cottbus and neighboring districts. They are strongly suspected of dealing drugs, the police announced on Saturday. After the operation on Friday, the officers initially spoke of one arrested person.

In total, the police seized around four kilograms of cannabis, three alarm guns, batons, knives and a stun gun during the operation. According to the police, seven vehicles and over 20,000 euros in cash were also confiscated. Over 200 police officers from the federal states of Brandenburg, Berlin, Saxony and Thuringia were involved in the police operation. The operation had been prepared for a long time.
