Following the fire in an apartment building in Upper Bavaria, two apartments are no longer habitable - the damage was in the mid six-figure range. A 68-year-old woman and her 73-year-old husband were slightly injured and taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation, police said. According to the report, the house in Unterwössen (Traunstein district) caught fire on Sunday morning for initially unknown reasons. The fire department prevented the flames from spreading to a neighboring building. One half of the apartment building reportedly burned down to the roof truss. The investigation is still ongoing.
