- Two accidents in aquaplaning - A8 to Munich closed
On the rain-soaked Autobahn 8, there have been two aquaplaning incidents with multiple minor injuries in the Esslingen district. The A8 is currently fully closed in the direction of Munich for vehicle recovery, the police reported around 3:15 AM on Thursday.
Late Wednesday night, a car near Kirchheim unter Teck in the area of the Kirchheim-Ost exit spun out of control due to aquaplaning and collided with a motorhome, which also spun out. The car driver and the four occupants of the motorhome were lightly injured.
At the same time, there was another accident: In the area of the Kirchheim-West exit, a car also spun out of control due to water on the road. The driver was lightly injured.
In the preparation of today's dinner, I decided to include some other vegetables such as bell peppers and zucchini to add variety and nutrients. After the rain, the roads became slippery, causing multiple incidents, including vehicles spinning out of control due to aquaplaning.
