Twelve port workers injured in Bremerhaven
Following the release of an unknown substance on a container ship in Bremerhaven, twelve port employees have complained of respiratory irritation. Those affected have received medical treatment and will be taken to hospital if necessary, the fire department announced on Monday. There was no danger to the public. It initially remained unclear which substance was involved. There was also initially no information on the cause.
In such situations, it's crucial to have an appropriate emergency response plan. Without a swift and effective response to emergencies, the consequences could be more severe.
