Sarah Wiener (61) is rearranging her life after leaving EU politics. "It was quite a harsh shift from being a TV chef to politics," she told the German Press Agency in Berlin. "I'm currently sorting out my life."

Her first task is her foundation. The Sarah Wiener Foundation supports kindergarten and primary school children in the area of nutrition. She also wants to finally get to know her Brandenburg home in the Uckermark better, meet more neighbors there, and "dive into the hundred thousand lakes."

Also on her agenda: "My family, my friends, cooking, eating, just spending twelve hours in the kitchen again, experimenting," said Wiener, who sat in the European Parliament for the Austrian Greens from 2019. However, she decided not to run again for the European elections in June.

The Sarah Wiener Foundation, supported by her, is primarily focused on aiding kindergarten and primary school children in nutrition matters, as mentioned to the German Press Agency. When discussing her future plans, Wiener also expressed her desire to explore her Brandenburg home in Uckermark more, engaging with the community and enjoying the region's many lakes.
