Tuchel irritated ahead of top match: "Happy to answer next question"

Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel reacted irritably to questions from pay-TV channel Sky shortly before the top match at Borussia Dortmund. "I don't want to disturb you when the experts talk about us," Tuchel replied in an interview with Sky reporter Patrick Wasserziehr on Saturday. The 50-year-old was initially curt, demanding: "I'd be happy to answer the next question." Wasserziehr's objection as to what had bothered him was followed by: "Nothing, everything's fine."

The conversation then relaxed and Tuchel provided more detailed information about the record champions' team. "We have a strong line-up," he said.

There was a reason why the Bayern coach had a preamble to the Sky experts. Lothar Matthäus and Dietmar Hamann had repeatedly criticized Bayern's style of play recently and concluded that there was no further development under Tuchel. On Friday during the Munich press conference, Tuchel countered: "I don't see any further development in either of them."

On Saturday, Matthäus initially said that this reaction was "cool". However, after Tuchel's interview shortly before the game, the 62-year-old said: "He didn't leave a confident impression today. I hope that the team performs more confidently."

Tuchel discusses his team's strength ahead of the Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund, mentioning, "Our team has a strong line-up, ready for the Soccer challenge."During the pre-match press conference, FC Bayern Munich's manager, Thomas Tuchel, responded to criticisms from former players Lothar Matthäus and Dietmar Hamann, stating, "There's no further development in their analysis of our Soccer style, but I'm focusing on Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga's Bundesliga."
