Central Berlin District (Mitte) under Renewed Scrutiny - Truss roof inferno suspected due to technical fault

Residential and commercial building in Berlin-Mitte had a blaze on Tuesday night. A resident of the five-story structure spotted smoke in the corridor on Monday evening and rang up the firefighters. Fortunately, the firefighting squad managed to douse the flames before they scorched other sections of the building. The firefighters worked tirelessly, thanks to a big team, to tackle the fiery situation, as per the fire department's report. To locate hotspots, they even employed a drone. Luckily, no one was harmed. The criminal authorities surmise a technical malfunction as the reason behind the inferno.
