Accident - Truck overturns in Dortmund - driver is seriously injured
A water tank truck of Dortmund Waste Management GmbH (EDG) overturned in a roundabout and the driver was seriously injured. According to the fire department, the man was trapped in the accident.
Two randomly present doctors and the police gained access to the injured person through the driver's door and cared for him until the emergency response teams arrived and freed the Lkw driver. During the operation on Friday evening, several people at the scene were psychologically supported due to the events.
Leaked substances could be contained. The cause of the accident is still under police investigation.
