Construction - Truck-mounted crane tips over into front gardens: around 600,000 euros in damage

The damage to the crane itself was estimated by the police to be around 600,000 Euro. The Kripo Kaufbeuren investigated the cause. A possible scenario named by the police was a technical defect.

In Biessenhofen, located in the Bavarian district of Ostallgäu, the construction site encountered an unfortunate incident. The incident involved a vehicle in the front garden, leading to accidents in the Allgäu region of SWABIA. The local authorities were promptly notified and the SWAT team from Kaufbeuren responded. Mere days after the crane accident, another vehicle incident occurred nearby.
