Traffic - Truck lands in ditch: First aider injured
At a traffic accident in Boël (Schleswig-Flensburg district), a female first responder was seriously injured when two cars collided. A 60-year-old man had lost control of his truck for unknown reasons and ended up in a ditch, as the police reported on Wednesday. The driver was slightly injured during the incident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly afterwards, a woman went to the scene to help the injured person. However, another accident occurred. According to the police, as the 48-year-old woman was about to get out of her car, a 58-year-old man drove his car into the woman's car. The first responder was seriously injured in the collision.
A passenger in the other car sustained light injuries. All three injured parties were taken to the hospital. The road was closed during the accident investigation and cleanup. The police have taken further investigations.
