Teterow - Truck hits pedestrian: 73-year-old fatally injured
A 73-year-old pedestrian was hit and fatally injured by a truck in Teterow (Rostock district) on Friday morning. According to the police, the 57-year-old truck driver overlooked the pedestrian when turning. Despite receiving medical treatment from the emergency services, the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. The lorry driver suffered a shock and had to be taken to hospital. The police are still investigating the incident.
