Accident - Truck catches fire: Federal highway 10 fully closed
A truck caught fire on the B10 federal highway near Dornstadt (Alb-Donau district) on Thursday morning. The road was still fully closed in the afternoon. A police spokesman said that an investigation was underway to determine whether the road had been damaged by the incident.
The driver of the truck was uninjured. He was able to escape from the burning vehicle. The police initially assumed a technical defect. The vehicle's oil pan had also burst, which could have accelerated the fire.
