Triple pack: Stefan Kutschke impresses against Viktoria Köln
For Stefan Kutschke, his first treble in the 3rd Football League was "the treat". In the 5:1 win against Viktoria Köln on Friday evening, the 35-year-old Dynamo Dresden captain converted two penalties and scored a further goal. Kutschke has now scored seven goals this season. This puts him in joint third place in the league scoring charts. He has also already converted three penalties - a league best.
Kutschke thus demonstrates leadership qualities and goal threat. "Kutsche took the two penalties. He has to lead the way as captain, so I'm delighted that he scored," said Dynamo coach Markus Anfang on TV channel MagentaSport. For Kutschke, it was above all to make amends: "We had the second leg last season with the missed penalty. I was able to make up for that twice - that was the nice thing." After all, Viktoria, who are so strong at home, were beaten by Dynamo at home for the first time this season.
At the latest after the win against Viktoria, it seems clear that Dynamo are aiming for promotion to the second division. Kutschke already experienced this as a loan player for Dynamo in the 2015/16 season. Now he can lead the way as captain and help his team to promotion.
In the 3rd league, Dynamo Dresden's captain, Stefan Kutschke, displayed his goal-scoring abilities and leadership by converting two penalties and adding another goal against Viktoria Köln, a team they defeated at home for the first time this season.
