Lübeck - Trial for robbery at bakery continues

The trial against the four men who allegedly stole almost 218,000 euros during the robbery of an armored car in April of this year will continue on Friday (10:00 a.m.) in Lübeck. This trial day will presumably take place again with an increased police presence after one of the accused threatened one of his co-defendants with death on November 9.

The threatened man is said to have been the driver of the getaway car and had previously testified that he knew nothing about his co-defendants' plans for the robbery. One of the co-defendants then threatened to kill the 24-year-old man and his family. The presiding judge then immediately interrupted the trial. Since then, stricter security measures have been in place in the courtroom on trial days.

According to the court, biographical details of the accused are to be read out on Friday.
