Bielefeld: The Location of a Disturbance - Trial for manslaughter commences without presence of the deceased at a district court.
Today at 9:00 am, a murder case begins at the Bielefeld District Court, with no actual body involved. A 37-year-old man from Enger, in the district of Herford, is up against charges. The accused is said to have killed a Hüllhorst businessman in October 2023, driven by greed and his quest for the victim's real estate and possessions.
The forensic examination suggests the 62-year-old was attacked on his property. The victim's car had already been found and seized by investigators in the Netherlands. The defendant was spotted with the victim's vehicle parked in a Melle, Lower Saxony, lot prior to the incident. Subsequently, the victim's hidden cell phone was discovered in the car, traceable. After the disappearance, he was detained following a seven-week search. In his possession were the victim's car keys and paperwork.
