Trapp and Götze about to return to Eintracht

Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Dino Toppmöller can hope that three recently injured regulars will be able to play at 1. FC Union Berlin. Goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, Mario Götze and Robin Koch are "feeling much better", said Toppmöller ahead of the Bundesliga match in Berlin on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky). The trio had recently been struggling with back problems. However, he would only be able to make a final assessment after the final training session on Friday evening.

Toppmöller announced that the Hessians want to be "brutal from the first minute" on the tenth matchday. The trend is in Frankfurt's favor: Union have lost each of their last eleven competitive games, while the Berliners have now plummeted towards the bottom of the table. Eintracht are in seventh place. According to Toppmöller, the match is comparable to a fight with a battered boxer - "extremely dangerous". The 42-year-old said: "It won't be about winning a beauty prize in Berlin."

Eintracht Frankfurt's prospects might improve with the potential returns of Kevin Trapp, Mario Götze, and Robin Koch, as they have been dealing with back issues. Toppmöller's side is set to face a struggling 1st FC Union Berlin in the Bundesliga, with the Berliners losing their last eleven competitive matches.
