Crime - Transverse flute stolen on the bus - back with the owner for the festival

One week after his high-quality flute was stolen from a bus in Bergkamen, the owner can once again enjoy his instrument. The man had noticed the loss of his Japanese flute when he got off the bus and recognized the mouthpiece days later on an online sales platform, as the police in the district of Unna reported on Wednesday. When the mouthpiece was sold, a 28-year-old man was provisionally arrested.

Shortly afterwards, the remaining parts of the flute and the case were also found, which the young man had hidden in the apartment of his girlfriend, who was not involved, a police spokeswoman said. The owner of the instrument will be able to reassemble his flute by Thursday at the latest and play it at a Christmas concert in time for the festivities, it said.
