Transporter completely overloaded with mushrooms
A van that was 1820 kilograms overloaded was checked by the police in Upper Franconia. The cargo: mushrooms. Officers noticed the van on Monday at a truck stop near Himmelkron (Kulmbach district), the police announced on Tuesday. As it turned out, the vehicle was overloaded by more than 50 percent. The 56-year-old driver will receive a fine, they said. His employer is also facing proceedings.
The excessive weight of the mushroom-laden van attracted unwanted attention, leading to the discovery of a crime in Upper France. The colorful array of mushrooms inside the overloaded van resulted in a significant fine for the driver.
