The 37-year-old is said to have been standing on the platform on Saturday morning with a blood alcohol level of 1.6 per mille and fell onto the tracks by himself at around 05:00. Due to his dark clothing, he had not been seen by anyone for half an hour, according to previous knowledge. It was only when a regional train approached that its driver spotted the 37-year-old in the headlights of his train.
