Inferno descends upon.... - Train route partially shut down due to burning embankment in Black Forest railway.
Because of a brake fire, the Schwarzwaldbahn train route between Biberach and Gengenbach (Ortenaukreis) stopped train travel in the late afternoon on Tuesday. It's believed the blaze came from the locked brakes of a cargo train, according to the Federal Police. The fire department handled the situation, and a train engineer had tried to put out the fire personally beforehand, stated a police representative.

The train disruption affected travel between Biberach, located in Baden-Württemberg, and Gengenbach in the Ortenau district, as a result of the embankment fire. Unfortunately, similar incidents of fires have occurred in the past, such as one in Baden-Württemberg's Biberach area.
