Drugs - Trafficking a ton of cocaine - five men arrested

The Hamburg Customs Investigation Office arrested five men on Wednesday on suspicion of trafficking a ton of cocaine with a street value of more than 50 million euros. The suspects, aged between 22 and 43, were arrested in the early hours of the morning during a raid on 22 apartments and business premises in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein, the customs authorities announced. During the raid, which involved around 350 officers, high-value vehicles, expensive pleasure boats, five firearms and six-figure sums of cash were also seized. Arrest warrants had been issued for the men.
