Traffic - Traffic jam after accident: Police drive mother of the bride to the wedding ceremony
After an accident on the Bundesstraße 9 near Jockgrim (Germersheim district), the police got a mother of the bride out of the traffic jam and brought her to her daughter's wedding ceremony - and in good time. The distraught woman had phoned the officers on Friday evening and reported her dilemma, according to a statement from the evening, which was signed "Police Wörth - your friend and helper".
The accident involving two vehicles had occurred around an hour earlier. Two people were reportedly injured. The B9 in the direction of Wörth had to be completely closed for an extended period of time.
