- Tractor driver has to avoid car - slightly injured
A 29-year-old tractor driver slid into a ditch in the Paderborn district while trying to avoid a collision with an oncoming car on his lane. He had to brake in Salzkotten to prevent a crash, causing his trailer to skid. A baler was attached to the tractor.
The car driver continued on his way, according to police. The tractor driver sustained minor injuries. The accident site had to be closed for about three hours during the investigation. The total property damage was estimated at 120,000 euros.
The car driver managed to avoid the collision, unaffected by the incident. Subsequently, they drove past the accident site, now cleared after three hours of investigation.
