German Volleyball League - Top volleyball player Krage signs with BR Volleys.

A new national player, Florian Krage, joins the BR Volleys for the upcoming Bundesliga season 2024/25. At 27 years old, this middle blocker is moving from Spacer's Toulouse in France to the reigning German champion. The team officially announced this news on Saturday. Managing director Kaweh Niroomand had this to say: "Florian has the full package and is a fantastic individual. We'll have four elite middle blockers on our team this season, allowing us to share the load. I also anticipate increased competition within our team." Recently, the club had already recruited national player Moritz Reichert.

Krage has been a significant part of the national team for some time, considered alongside Tobias Krick, Anton Brehme, and Lukas Maase as one of the top four recognized middle blockers. As he strives towards a spot on the Olympic squad, Krage finds himself in a pivotal moment, with the Volleyball Nations League and Kienbaum training camp upcoming. "Right now, my primary focus is on qualifying for Paris," he stated.
