- Too much rain: travel to Nature One campsite stopped
Heavy rainfall has made it impossible for campers to reach the Nature One techno festival in the Hunsrück region. The organizer announced on Friday morning that no further access to the campsite is possible. "The areas are too wet, and the access roads cannot be repaired sufficiently with bulldozers and gravel in the short term."
"It breaks our hearts, but in the 29th year, we have to give in to the weather for the first time regarding further camping access," said Oliver Vordemvenne from the organizer I-Motion in the statement. However, the access to the actual festival is not affected.
On the festival's Instagram page, the organizer writes that the last vehicles on site are still being brought onto the areas. Those who cannot reach Nature One due to the stop will receive a full refund for their festival and camping tickets.
The techno festival is taking place this weekend at the former US rocket station Pydna in the Hunsrück region.
Despite the heavy rainfall causing the camping sites to become unusable, the techno festival itself at the former US rocket station Pydna in the Hunsrück region continues as planned. Regrettably, campers unable to reach Nature One due to the rain-soaked conditions will receive a full refund for their festival and camping tickets.
