Toffee

  • 6 Esslöffel gesalzene Butter (84 g)
  • 3⁄4 Tasse hellbrauner Zucker (165 g), leicht verpackt
  • 1 Teelöffel koscheres Salz (5 g)
  • 10 Mandeln, gehackt

Beschichtung

  • 1 Tafel Milchschokolade
  • 1⁄8 Teelöffel rosa Meersalz
  • 1 Esslöffel Butter (14 Gramm)

Vorbereiten

  1. Ein Backblech mit Backpapier auslegen.
  2. In einem Topf Butter, Zucker und Salz vermischen. Wenn die Temperatur 260 °F erreicht, vom Feuer nehmen.
  3. Gehackte Mandeln in die Mischung streuen und gut vermischen.
  4. Die Mischung in die Auflaufform gießen.
  5. Stellen Sie das Backblech für 30–45 Minuten in den Kühlschrank.
  6. Die Schokoriegel schmelzen und mit dem Salz und der geschmolzenen Butter vermischen, bis alles gut vermischt ist.
  7. Das Toffee aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen und in Stücke schneiden. In der geschmolzenen Schokoladenmischung verteilen.
  8. Die mit Schokolade überzogenen Toffeestücke wieder auf das mit Backpapier ausgelegte Backblech legen und 15 Minuten im Kühlschrank kalt stellen.
  9. Schokoladen-Toffee aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen und auf den Teller legen. Mit einem Glas Milch servieren und genießen!
