A blooming Titan arum is a rare occurrence, sharing the Ecological-Botanical Garden in Bayreuth. This will be the 9th such event since 2014. Whenever it happens, it draws countless spectators.
Presently, there are three of these unique plants in the Tropenhaus. The upcoming bloomer is 21 years old, and it has already shown this spectacle in 2018 and 2021. Additionally, visitors can enjoy these peculiar flowers in other botanical gardens like Bonn and Frankfurt am Main, which specialize in their cultivation.
