US actor Timothée Chalamet (28, "Dune", "Call Me By Your Name") previews his new film role as the legendary Bob Dylan with a nasal singing voice. The first trailer for the film "A Complete Unknown" directed by James Mangold, which is set to release in the US in December, shows Chalamet's transformation into the young folk musician in New York during the 1960s. In one scene, he passes by the New York Chelsea Hotel, where Dylan lived at times. With a hat and guitar, he runs through the city to his first performances, accompanied by the iconic song "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall". Chalamet embodies Dylan at the microphone with disheveled hair and a nasal voice.

Mangold illuminates Dylan's early success as a folk musician up to his switch to the electric guitar at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Among the co-stars are Edward Norton as folk legend Pete Seeger, Monica Barbaro as singer Joan Baez, and Elle Fanning as a Dylan friend. The 83-year-old Dylan is involved in the production. Mangold directed the award-winning film "Walk the Line" about country singer Johnny Cash in 2005.

Chalamet was nominated for an Oscar in 2018 for the leading role in the relationship drama "Call Me By Your Name". Recently, he filmed "Dune: Part Two" and the musical comedy "Wonka".

In the film "A Complete Unknown," Chalamet portrays Dylan, a young musician, who gaines prominence in the United States during the 1960s, specifically in New York. This Cinematic transformation sees Chalamet performing on the streets of New York, strumming his guitar and singing the iconic song "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall." Chalamet's depiction of Dylan in Los Angeles, where he later switched to electric guitar at the Newport Folk Festival, is also showcased in the movie.
