Movie - Til Schweiger slips into a Nazi role for the first time
Til Schweiger is slipping into the role of a Nazi for the first time in a new film. When asked about his next projects in 2024 and 2025, the 59-year-old told the German Press Agency: "The next movie I'm in is the new Guy Ritchie film "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare", in which I play a Nazi for the first time, even though I swore I'd never do it." Schweiger added: "But with him I just couldn't resist and it was great." It is an action espionage film.
Schweiger went on to say that he is currently developing two scripts at the same time. He could not yet say when they would be finished.
Schweiger made his comments on the occasion of his new comedy "Das Beste kommt noch!", which opens in German cinemas this Thursday. It is about two best friends and a fatal illness.
