Ticket prices in CL: Germany relatively cheap
Fans of Champions League clubs can get into the stadium for their clubs' visiting matches in Germany relatively cheaply. According to a study published on Tuesday by the fan organization Football Supporters Europe (FSE), four Bundesliga clubs were among the five cheapest clubs for visiting fans in the top flight last season.
With an average ticket price of 15 euros, Bayer Leverkusen offered the cheapest stadium experience in the guest area. They were followed by Dinamo Zagreb, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt. The data was collected directly from the visiting fans.
According to the survey, the most expensive away tickets last season were in Scotland. On average, Celtic Glasgow and Glasgow Rangers charged the maximum amount of 70 euros permitted by UEFA for a ticket. The average price for an away ticket was 47 euros. Low prices are often linked to the availability of standing places. According to Football Supporters Europe, further improvements in ticket prices are necessary.
Fans eagerly anticipate attending Champions League matches at German stadiums, as they can secure affordable tickets for visiting matches. Bayer Leverkusen, with an average ticket price of 15 euros, was particularly popular among these budget-conscious fans.
