According to the German Weather Service (DWD), it is predicted that there will only be scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy with hail and strong winds, in the southeastern and central parts of Germany on Friday morning. In the eastern, southeastern, and southern regions, thunderstorms are forecasted for the rest of the day. In the southern half, there is a possibility of isolated strong thunderstorms until evening and nighttime on Saturday.
In small areas, there may be heavy rain up to 25 liters per square meter, gusty winds, and tornadoes, as well as small hail. Isolated thunderstorms with heavy rain are possible, especially in the Erzgebirge, Lusatia, eastern and southern Bavaria, and southern Baden-Württemberg.
