- Three vehicles engulfed in flames within the subterranean parking lot – cinema temporarily halted operations.

Due to a blaze involving a few motor vehicles in an underground parking lot, a movie theater in Stuttgart endured a shutdown. As reported by the fire department spokesperson, three automobiles were engulfed in flames within the garage of the SI-Centrum in Stuttgart-Möhringen. The firefighters managed to put out the inferno, but smoke permeated the facility. The designated section of the building had been vacated by staff prior to the arrival of the first fire department personnel, resulting in no injuries.

As a result of the smog, the cinema in the entertainment hub had to remain closed for the remainder of that Friday. Various ventilation methods were required, including the operational use of a large, remote-controlled, chain-driven fan. The fire department's operations concluded around 20:00. The origin of the fire remained a mystery to begin with.

The leisure facility situated on the outskirts of Stuttgart also served as home to the theatres of two musicals. According to the fire department spokesperson, the performance of the musical "Tina" went on as scheduled. The performance of the musical "Tarzan" began with a delay.

The smog caused by the fire in the underground garage of the SI-Centrum affected the ventilation system of the adjacent cinema, requiring the use of a large fan. To ensure safety, the underground garage, where the motor vehicles were involved in the blaze, will need a thorough inspection before being reopened.
