Lindau District at Lake Constance - Three vehicles collide, resulting in injuries to six individuals.
Along a federal road close to Sigmarszell in Swabia, six individuals sustained severe injuries in the afternoon of Thursday. Two of them remain critical as nighttime approached. According to the Swabia South police department, a 66-year-old man unexpectedly lost control of his vehicle at roughly 4:00 p.m., drifting into the opposite lane. There, he collided head-on with an incoming vehicle. The force of the collision caused the 66-year-old's car to strike a third vehicle.
The 66-year-old driver endured significant injuries, as did his passenger. In the oncoming car, a family resided - the father underwent severe injuries and required rescue by the fire department. The mother and the two four-year-old children, too, suffered significant harm. The driver of the third vehicle incurred only minor injuries. The B308 remained shut down into the evening.
