Accidents - Three trucks crashed into each other on federal highway 38
Three trucks crashed into each other at the end of a traffic jam on the highway 38 between Bleicherode and Nordhausen in the direction of Leipzig. Due to the accident on Thursday night, the highway is initially closed between the Großwechsungen and Nordhausen-West junctions, according to the Thuringia police. Presumably, the rearmost truck at the end of the traffic jam hit the previous truck and pushed the three vehicles into each other. One person was injured and further investigations are ongoing.

The Thuringia police are managing the situation at the accident site on the federal highway 38, specifically between Bleicherode and Nordhausen, where three trucks collided in the direction of Leipzig. This unfortunate event occurred near the town of Nordhausen, not far from the federal highway's intersection with the A71 federal highway. Due to the severity of the accidents, emergency vehicles and bleacherode-like structures were set up to ensure the safety of passing motorists and first responders.
