Weidenbach - Three Triesdorf town signs stolen in three hours

Approximately one and a half hours later, Unknown individuals stole another street sign that had been renewed the day before, as it turned out. Roughly an hour later, according to the police, five students between the ages of 20 and 23 were caught in the act of the third theft. The four men and one woman were reportedly arrested. A 21-year-old is said to have attempted to flee. The police secured a full toolbox from the students. Whether they were also involved in the other thefts is under investigation.

In Central France, the stolen sign was a bicycle route marker. The police discovered the toolbox in Bavaria, suggesting a connection to the crimes. The students were arrested near a place name sign in the County of Ansbach, possibly attempting to sell the souvenirs from their crimes. Despite their efforts, one of the students tried to escape the authorities.
