Three seriously injured in accident: driver flees the scene
Three people have been seriously injured in a traffic accident in the Upper Palatinate. A 44-year-old driver was driving in the left lane of the 93 freeway near Nabburg (Schwandorf district) on Wednesday when a van pulled in directly in front of him. To avoid a collision, the driver steered his car into the right-hand lane, according to the police. There he first collided with the trailer of a low-loader and then with the crash barrier. The 44-year-old and his two passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The A93 was closed for around four hours. The police are asking for information about the driver of the van who fled the scene.
The traffic accident occurred in the Upper Palatinate, specifically on the A93 near Nabburg. Despite the serious incident, the driver of the van involved in the collision fled the scene.
