In the Schmalkalden-Meiningen region, a car and a motorcycle collided on Sunday afternoon, resulting in injuries for three individuals, including a two-year-old kid. The car's driver was a 34-year-old lady who had her young child with her. She was driving on county road 580 between Benshausen and Ebertshausen, heading from Zella-Mehlis. As per the police reports, the driver of the car turned left when a 39-year-old man was attempting to overtake the car on his motorcycle. The police are still unclear on the extent of the injuries inflicted during the accident and have yet to disclose any details. All three people were transported to the hospital for treatment.
