Ludwigslust-Parchim: A Town in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany - Three-member family sustains injuries from accident with an ambulance.

A collision with an ambulance on the B104 led to injuries for a family of three on Saturday. The driver, a 29-year-old mother, was attempting to turn left at Witzin and may have overlooked the approaching ambulance on the turn lane. The ambulance was a part of a mission with other special and roadside assistance vehicles, authorities said. The mother and her seven-year-old child only had minor injuries, but the 29-year-old father sustained severe ones. Fortunately, the ambulance staff didn't get hurt. Estimated damages were around 30,000 euros.
