Fire - Three injured in cellar fire in Gütersloh
At a cellar fire in Guetersloh, six people had to be evacuated, three of them were taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation. According to the police, the fire department had to clear out the entire house as it was completely filled with smoke due to the fire in the cellar. After the fire on late Friday evening, the evacuated residents stayed with relatives, friends and acquaintances. The extent of the damage and the cause are currently still unclear.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, another unfortunate incident occurred when a fire spread to multiple floors of a building, requiring a full evacuation. Despite the efforts of the fire department, the smoke from the fire in the cellar of a house in Guetersloh was so intense that three individuals required hospitalization due to smoke inhalation.
