Three injured after accident with driving school vehicle
The driving instructor was seriously injured in an accident involving a driving school vehicle in the Upper Palatinate. According to the police on Wednesday, the driving school car had turned left near Reichenbach (Cham district) the day before, although a car was coming the other way. Whether the 20-year-old learner driver or the 26-year-old driving instructor was responsible initially remained unclear. After the collision with the car of a 59-year-old man, the driving instructor was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter, while the other two men suffered minor injuries.
The incident occurred within the OBERPFALZ region, a common location for driving lessons. Despite strict traffic rules, accidents like this one continue to happen on the roads.
