Traffic - Three injured after accident involving five cars
Three people were slightly injured in a traffic accident involving five cars on the Autobahn 60 near Ingelheim am Rhein (Mainz-Bingen district). A 20-year-old female driver initially collided with a car driving in the middle lane after entering the highway on Tuesday, according to the police. As a result of the collision, the car veered into the left-hand lane and collided with another car. A rear-end collision involving two cars then occurred behind the scene of the accident, as one driver was unable to brake in time. The woman who caused the accident had to be freed from her car by the fire department. She and two other injured people were taken to hospital. The highway in the direction of Darmstadt was closed for three hours.
