Quite a Chaotic Crash occurred on the B5 in Hamburg-Billstedt past the evening hours, affecting three individuals, one of them severely harmed. As per authorities' accounts, a vehicle moving at what onlookers deemed an excessive pace collided with a vehicle in front of it, situated between the Horner Rampe and Billstedt-Mitte on the left lane, forcing the latter into the barrier.

The three occupants within the vehicle in front - two men aged 27 and 50, and a 49-year-old lady - were left injured, confirmed a police representative. The probable four passengers of the other car supposedly bolted from the scene on foot following the collision. The police have since apprehended and questioned the driver. "Investigations are still ongoing," she declared.

Due to the extensive wreckage remaining on the site, the B5 was required to be completely closed in the direction of Bergedorf during the early morning hours. Initial reports of the accident first emerged in the local Hamburg media on Saturday.

The driver of the vehicle that collapsed into the barrier was cited for driving at an excessive speed, according to the police report. Despite the serious crash involving a car, the suspected perpetrators managed to flee the scene on foot.
