In a crash with a truck in the Allgäu region, three individuals in a vehicle suffered injuries. One of them, a 20-year-old, was critically injured and transported to the hospital, as per the police.
Sources suggest that the injured individuals might be a family. The 55-year-old at the wheel of the vehicle sustained severe injuries in the accident near Kaufbeuren. Her 59-year-old passenger also suffered injuries. Miraculously, the truck driver emerged unscathed.
As per reports, the 55-year-old for some unexplained reasons ended up on the incorrect side of the road. The truck driver made an attempt to avoid a collision, but it was ineffective. Consequently, the federal highway was blocked for numerous hours post the incident.
The 59-year-old passenger is currently receiving treatment for the injuries sustained in the accident. Due to the seriousness of the crash, authorities are investigating the cause of this unfortunate incident.
