Emergencies - Three fires in Upper Franconia: No connection

After three fires broke out in the neighboring districts of Hof and Wunsiedel in one day, the police have ruled out the possibility that the fires are connected. This was announced by the Upper Franconia police headquarters on Wednesday. On Monday, a riding stable in Kirchenlamitz, a club hut in Rehau and a barn in Weißdorf caught fire.

Initially, the police had announced that they would routinely investigate a possible connection. However, according to information from Wednesday, the fire in Kirchenlamitz was caused by work on a frozen water pipe. As things stand, investigators have also ruled out deliberate arson in Weißdorf. As in the case of the clubhouse, the cause of the fire was initially unclear.
