State security - Three electric cars of the same brand set on fire?
Unknown perpetrators set fire to three electric cars of the same brand in Berlin-Mitte. A resident noticed one of the burning cars in the street An der Kieler Brücke during the night on Tuesday and called the police, as the authorities reported. Upon arrival, the emergency services saw two more burning vehicles in two other nearby streets.
The fire department extinguished the flames, no one was injured. The police are investigating arson. Since a political motive cannot be ruled out, the responsible state protection authority for politically motivated crimes has taken over the investigation. An connection between the three arsons is also being checked.
