The Legislative Assembly of Saxony-Anhalt marks the 35th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution. On Tuesday at 5 PM, it's anticipated that Federal Parliament President Bärbel Bas will attend a commemorative function. She'll be delivering the main address. The aim of the event is to pay tribute to the historical impact of the protests against the SED dictatorship, the refugee migrations via the Prague embassy, the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and the conclusion of German division, as previously announced by the Legislative Assembly of Saxony-Anhalt. Invitations have been extended to figures from politics, commerce, and society, as well as the active and peaceful individuals who played a role in the transformation during the summer and autumn of 1989.

The Peaceful Revolution, which significantly impacted German history, primarily took place in East Germany. Notably, many key figures from Germany, including Federal Parliament President Bärbel Bas, are expected to attend the commemoration in Saxony-Anhalt.
